Book Worming 2013

After starting my 50/25/5 list of performances, movies, and museums I got to thinking that it would be nice to keep track of what I read this year as well. I know I read plenty of great words last year, but all I can really remember is that I fell in love with Cheryl Strayed (Wild, Tiny Beautiful Things) and was totally taken with The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker.

Here’s what I’ve read since the beginning of this year in mostly chronological order. A caret means I started a title in 2012 and am just finishing it now. An asterisk indicates that I read the title with my book club of awesome, brilliant, hilarious ladies. We meet monthly and have a dinner together; it’s one of my favorite things of 2013 so far.

By the way, I was really into my kindle for about a year and a half. I’ve strayed back to the real deal. I even find myself preferring hardback to paperback these days. Crazy.
